International companies are showing no interest in selling liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Pakistan, due to which there is a fear that the gas crisis will become more serious in winter.
Experts say that Europe is buying a lot of LNG, so global companies are not bidding to supply LNG to Pakistan.
According to sources, Pakistan wants to buy 72 LNG cargoes but not a single bid has come in yet.
Pakistan LNG Limited had invited bids for 72 LNG cargoes till 2028 in October.
