The Punjab government has stopped the screening of the film ‘Joyland’.

According to the notification of the Punjab Information Department, the screening of the film ‘Joyland’ has been banned in view of the continuous complaints from various quarters.

According to the notification, this ban will continue in Punjab until further notice.

It should be noted that earlier the Full Board of the Central Film Censor Board had allowed the film Joyland to be screened in the country after deleting some parts.

It should be noted that the story of the film Joyland is based on the life of a eunuch, produced by Sarmad Khost and Orapurva Charan, the music of the film is composed by Abdullah Siddiqui.
