Veteran Bollywood actor Vikram Gokhale passed away at the age of 77 in a hospital in Pune.
Indian Media reports Popular film, television and stage actor Vikram Gokhale passed away on Saturday at the age of 77 after prolonged illness, his family confirmed.
He was undergoing treatment at Deenath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune in a critical condition for the past few days, but today he breathed his last in the hospital.
Even earlier, the news of the actor’s death came out, which was denied by his family.
Vikram made his Bollywood debut in 1971 with Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Parvana’ and later acted in several Marathi and Hindi films.
Among them are Amitabh Bachchan’s famous film ‘Agnipath’ in 1990 and the film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ in 1999, apart from Akshay Kumar’s super hit film ‘Bhool Bhaliya Mein Bhi Johar Ke Johar Dahine’.
