After 17 years on a historic tour of Pakistan, the English cricket team arrived in Multan last night for the second Test match, where they received a grand welcome.
In the first Test match played in Rawalpindi, England defeated Pakistan by 74 runs after a brave contest and now the English team has reached the city of Sufis for the Multan Test.
In this regard, English women’s team cricketer Alexandra Hartley, who has come to Pakistan with the men’s cricket team, tweeted in which she shared pictures enjoying the weather in Multan.
He also shared a picture of a cake on which the team was welcomed to Multan.
Also, James Anderson posted a story on Instagram in which he is standing next to his poster displayed in the hotel.
The banner featured a picture of James in his youth with the words ‘Honored to host James Anderson after 17 years’, with the cricketer briefly writing ‘Back to Multan’.
English opener Ben Duckett released a picture of the Rawalpindi Test and wrote that the focus is now on Multan.
On the other hand, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) media manager Ahsan Iftikhar shared a picture with a unique type of cupcakes.
One cupcake had PCB written on it, one had a bat and ball on it, and one had the national flag cream on top.
Ahsan Iftikhar wrote ‘Multan knows how to welcome us’.
It should be noted that the Multan Test between Pakistan and England is starting from Friday, December 9.
