National team captain Babar Azam has completed 1000 Test runs in this year 2022.
Captain Babar Azam is the sixth Pakistani to score 1000 Test runs in a year.
Earlier this feat was done by former captain Younis Khan 2 times while Inzamam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Yousuf, Azhar Ali and Mohsin Khan have done it once each.
Apart from Babar, only 3 international players have the honor of completing 1000 runs in Test cricket this year, including English cricketer Jurort, Jonny Bairstow and Australian player Usman Khawaja.
It should be remembered that earlier Babar Azam became the most Pakistani player to score more than 50 international runs in a year.
