For the first time in American history, criminal proceedings against a President were directed by Congress.

According to foreign media reports, the congressional committee unanimously recommended 4 criminal charges against former US President Donald Trump.

According to reports, charges include incitement to riot, conspiracy and obstruction of justice in connection with the January 6 attack on Capitol Hill.

Liz Cheney, a Republican member of the US House of Representatives, said that the most shameful act was that when Capitol Hill was being attacked, President Trump was sitting in the dining room of the First Office watching the riots on TV.
