The federal government has submitted a request to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to increase the price of electricity for the consumers of K Electric.
A request has been submitted for electricity price adjustment in the quarterly adjustment for K Electric customers.
According to Nepra, it has been requested to increase the price of electricity by Rs. 3.30 paise per unit for K-electric consumers.
Nepra officials say that it is proposed to increase the price of electricity for 4 months for electricity consumers, the hearing on the request to increase the price of electricity for Karachi will be held on December 27, the final decision to increase the price of electricity will be taken after the hearing.
