Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan became the Pakistani bowler with the most wickets in a year in T20 cricket.

Shadab Khan won this honor in the fourteenth match of the Big Bash League, the national cricketer’s team Hobart Hurricanes defeated Melbourne Renegades by 8 runs in which Shadab played an important role.

In the ongoing league in Australia, the leg-spinner took 3 wickets for 20 runs in 4 overs while bowling, Shadab made Aaron Finch, Jonathan Wells and Mujibur Rahman his victims.

After taking these three wickets, the number of wickets taken by Shadab in 2022 has increased to 61 whereas till now no Pakistani bowler has been able to take 61 wickets in T20 format in a single year.

Fast bowler Haris Rauf has taken 60 wickets in 2022, followed by Wahab Riaz in 2019 while all-rounder Azhar Mehmood took 60 wickets in 2013.

It should be noted that the 24-year-old all-rounder Shadab Khan has played 224 T20 matches so far, in which Shadab has scored 2087 runs with a strike rate of 137.12 while taking 258 wickets at an economy rate of 7.21.

Shadab has also represented Pakistan in six Tests, 53 ODIs and 84 T20 International matches.
