A meeting of the Privatization Committee of the Cabinet chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was held in which SME Bank was approved to be removed from the privatization list.
According to the announcement, a summary of the privatization of Services International Hotel was presented by the Privatization Commission and the meeting was apprised of the progress made so far in the privatization of Services International Hotel.
The statement said that the Privatization Committee handed over the matter of privatization of International Services Hotel to the Law and Justice Division.
The statement said that the Privatization Committee has approved the removal of SME Bank from the privatization list and the Committee has upheld the decision of July 2022 regarding the Roosevelt Hotel.
