Islamabad: In the first half of the current fiscal year, a tax of 3428 billion rupees was collected.
According to the data released by the FBR, the tax revenue has increased by 17 percent compared to last year, in December 2022, a tax of 740 billion rupees was collected, while in December 2021, a tax of 599 billion rupees was collected.
According to FBR, tax refunds of 176 billion rupees were given in the first half of the current financial year, while tax refunds of 149 billion rupees were paid in the first half of the previous financial year.
