Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Mossadegh Malik, has indicated further increase in gas prices.

While giving a statement in the Senate, the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Mossadegh Malik, said that no additional burden has been placed on the people, but this burden is coming on the treasury, so the price should be increased in any case.

Mossadegh Malik said that the government has banned the expansion of the domestic network due to gas shortage, additional gas connections can be provided on liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is very expensive.

Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Ejaz Chaudhry said that how much more will he increase in the remaining two-three days of the government.
