A Pakistani woman who has been oppressed by her in-laws for 12 years in America got justice, the Virginia court sent the woman’s mother-in-law and her two sons to jail.
According to reports, 80-year-old Zahida Aman and her two sons were found involved in domestic violence against a Pakistani woman.
According to the court documents, the woman was subjected to forced labour, tortured in front of her children while her travel documents were also taken away, she was cut off from her family in Pakistan.
The court heard the case in May 2022 and gave its verdict on January 24 this month.
