In January, the trade deficit decreased by 22.71 percent on an annual basis, exports decreased by 15.42 percent, while imports recorded a decrease of 19.55 percent on an annual basis.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the trade deficit decreased by 31.97 percent from July to January of this financial year, while imports recorded a decrease of 22.53 percent in 7 months.
According to the data, exports decreased by 7.16% from July to January, exports were 16 billion 469 million dollars, while imports from July to January were 36 billion 101 million dollars.
