Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai has said that we have to unite against the Taliban, we have to tell that there is no justification for terrorism in Islam.
Malala Yousafzai, speaking to Geo News on the occasion of attending the screening of her Oscar shortlisted film “Stranger at the Gate” in London, said that the leadership should come together for the sake of peace against the growing militancy in Pakistan. The religious leadership should reject the Taliban including terrorism and militancy.
Malala Yousafzai said that in the name of Islam, we should fight together against the extremist mentality, we should unite against the Taliban, we should tell that there is no justification for terrorism in Islam, we should tell the Taliban to use our traditions, values and Islam. Should not be allowed.
Talking about her documentary, Malala Yousafzai said that she decided to become the executive producer of the film to spread the message of harmony and forgiveness.
He said that the documentary is based on the true story of American Marine McKinney, who planned the attack on the mosque but then converted to Islam. The film deals with Islamophobia, racism and the power of forgiveness.
