In Lahore, flour is once again missing from shops and flour mill owners have announced a strike across Punjab from yesterday.

The 10 kg government bag of subsidized flour is not available in most of the shops while the supply of 15 kg commercial flour has also reduced.

The Punjab government has suspended the wheat quota of 12 flour mills that instigated the strike.

Secretary Food Punjab says that he will not be involved in blackmailing.

On the other hand, the price of chicken also increased in various cities including Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta.
