According to foreign media reports, the 12-year-old child who was pulled from the wreckage died in the hospital.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the 17-year-old girl who was rescued alive from the rubble in Kaharman Marash over the phone.
On the other hand, relief efforts are underway in around 200 affected areas in Turkey, and Turkey has pledged to rebuild earthquake-damaged homes within a year.
The work of demolishing the buildings affected by the earthquake is going on and more than 7 thousand experts are assessing the damages, more than 684 thousand houses and buildings have been inspected.
In this regard, the Turkish Urbanization Minister says that the reconstruction work will be started in March and no building will be higher than three to four floors.
Meanwhile, in an interview to Turkish media, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that our focus is on sending more winter tents to Turkey, and has called an emergency meeting of companies that manufacture winter tents in Pakistan.
Earthquake death toll
After the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria on February 6, the death toll has exceeded 45,000.
According to the Turkish Disaster Management Agency, the total death toll from the earthquake in Turkey reached 40,642.
The number of deaths in Syria reached 5800 and the total number of deaths reached 46 thousand 442.
According to the Turkish Disaster Management Agency, there have been 5,700 aftershocks in the affected areas since the earthquake.
