An angry mob in India killed a Canadian citizen of Indian origin for playing loud songs.

According to Indian media, this incident took place in Rangpur district of Indian Punjab, where a Canadian resident was beaten to death by an angry mob for playing loud songs.

According to Indian media, the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Pradeep Singh, who is a permanent resident of Canada and came to India last month with his mother, while the rest of his family resides in Canada.

According to Indian media, Pradeep Singh belongs to Ghazipur village of Gurdaspur district and has a son.

According to the police, the incident took place around 11 am on Monday, in which help is being taken from CCTV to arrest the accused.

The police said that the victim was unconscious due to the violence of the angry mob and was taken to the hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.

Police say that a big festival of Punjab is going on these days at the place where this incident took place.
