All-rounder Shadab Khan says that he is thankful to Allah Almighty for being made the captain of the national team for the T20 series against Afghanistan.
A video of Shadab Khan has been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board in which the captain said that I will try to fulfill the responsibility assigned to me to the best of my ability.
Shadab said, “I congratulate the new players for making it into the team, players start playing with the target of going to the top level, nothing can be better than representing your country.”
“It’s a young team and I’m excited to lead it, there’s energy in a young team, I’ll try to take that energy, it’s going to be an exciting series,” he added.
Shadab appealed to the fans to support the Pakistan team as always, try to make this series as exciting as the PSL matches.
It should be noted that the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the national squad for the three-match T20 series between Pakistan and Afghanistan, in which Shadab Khan has been appointed as the captain.
