Details of current account deficit of Pakistan have been released by State Bank of Pakistan.
According to the State Bank, the current account deficit for February 2023 was 74 million dollars, while the current account deficit from July 2022 to February 2023 was 3.86 billion dollars.
The trade deficit for the 8 months of FY2022-23 was $18 billion, while the trade deficit for the first eight months of the previous fiscal year was $26 billion.
According to the State Bank, the current financial year trade, services and income deficit was 22 billion dollars, the first 8 months of the last financial year trade, services and income deficit was 33 billion dollars.
