Jaya Bachchan’s reaction to the inappropriate conversation on the comparison between Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit in a Netflix show has also come out.
Video streaming platform Netflix is facing legal action for airing lewd conversations about Indian actress Madhuri Dixit.
According to Indian media reports, in the first episode of the second season of the famous American sitcom ‘The Big Bang Theory’, an indecent conversation between two characters of the show related to Madhuri was shown.
Kunal Nair, who played the role of Raj Kothrapalli in the show, made derogatory remarks about the legendary Indian actress.
Seeing this, Madhuri’s fan and author and social activist Mithun Vijay Kumar has sent a legal notice to Netflix.
Now the reaction of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother-in-law and legendary actress Jaya Bachchan has also come out.
Talking to the Indian newspaper Times of India, Jaya Bachchan said, ‘Is this guy (Kunal Nair) crazy? He has very foul language, he should be sent to a mental asylum and his family should be asked what they think of what their son said.’
Apart from this, senior actress Urmila has also given her reaction on this matter. He said, ‘What?! I don’t know anything about this episode so I won’t comment on it but if it’s true it’s more than outrageous, it shows their very low mindedness, do they really think this is true? Is there a joke?’
Note that in a scene in the first episode, Sheldon Cooper’s character, while talking to Raj Kothrapalli, compares Aishwarya Rai to Madhuri Dixit and says that ‘Aishwarya Rai is the poor man’s Madhavi Dixit.’
In response, a character named Raj Kothrapalli says ‘Aishwarya Rai is a goddess while Madhuri is Dixit are.’
