Islamabad: Spokesperson of Petroleum Division says that they are trying to bring cheap oil from Russia to Pakistan as soon as possible.
On the issue of oil purchase from Russia, Petroleum Division sources said that the first trial crude oil cargo from Russia is planned to be brought in April, this crude oil cargo is expected by mid-April.
Sources said that work is in progress on all matters including the establishment of an SPV company for importing oil from Russia, they are contacting the SECP for the establishment of an SPV company.
On the other hand, the spokesman of the Petroleum Division says that both countries are in full contact for the import of oil from Russia. Last week, the Russian delegation also held talks with the PSO officials in Karachi.
