
Mani Mathur, the female host who hosted several seasons of India’s popular reality show ‘Indian Idol’, called the show ‘fake’.
Indian actress and host Mani Mathur hosted the show at the launch of Indian Idol and then abruptly quit the show after the sixth season.
Recently, he spoke about the show in a podcast and called Indian Idol a ‘fake’.
Director Kabir Khan’s wife Mani Mathur said, “There is nothing real in the show. One day our producer came to me and said Dharmendra and Hema Malini are coming, we have to do some ‘movement’ to which I said all this. They do it a little, but it happens suddenly.
He said that once I was told that a candidate would be surprised to see his relative but that candidate already knew that the relative was there, so I decided to leave the show.
Mani Mathur said that I had a lot of affection for every person in the show and used to invite the people participating in the show to my house but when the show was not real, I left it.
It should be noted that there have been 13 seasons of Indian Idol and many personalities have called the show fake.
