The federal government has announced an increase of 10 rupees in the price of petrol for the next 15 days.
While giving a press conference, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of petrol is being increased by Rs 10 per liter after which the price per liter increased from Rs 272 to Rs 282.
He said that the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 5 78 paise per liter after which the new price will be Rs 186 7 paise per litre.
The finance minister said that the price of high speed and light diesel remained unchanged.
The increase in petrol price will be announced from 12 midnight.
The Ministry of Finance has also issued a notification regarding changes in the prices of petroleum products.
