Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) imports in the country have recorded a decline of 15% on annual basis in the first 9 months of the current financial year.

According to the report, LNG imports in the first 9 months of the current fiscal year were recorded 15 percent lower than the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.

According to the statistics, in March also, the import of LNG recorded a decrease of 8 percent compared to March last year.

The report states that LNG imports recorded a month-on-month growth of 6 percent in March as compared to February.
