A series of heavy rains suddenly started in Rawalpindi due to which the practice session of Pakistan and New Zealand teams was ended prematurely.

The five-match ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will begin tomorrow. 6 specialist players have been included in Pakistan team for ODI squad.

The T20 series between Pakistan and New Zealand ended in a 2-2 tie while one match was canceled due to rain.

The Green Shirts will now take on the Kiwis in a five-match ODI series. 6 players Abdullah Shafiq, Agha Salman, Haris Sohail, Imamul Haq, Osama Mir and Wasim Jr have been included in Pakistan team for ODI squad.

Grant Bradburn, the head coach of the Pakistan team, says that the strength of the team will increase with the inclusion of experienced players in the ODI squad.

On the other hand, Mark Champion, who performed brilliantly in the T20 series for New Zealand, has also been retained in the ODI squad. The first ODI of the series will be played tomorrow in Rawalpindi.
