The Iranian Parliament dismissed the Minister of Industry and Trade for failing to control rising inflation.

According to foreign media, 162 out of 272 members of the Iranian Parliament voted to remove Minister of Industry and Trade Reza Fatemi Amin from office.

The members said that Industry and Commerce Minister Raza Fatemi Amin has failed to stop the skyrocketing prices of vehicles and the increase in the cost of industrial production.
