Before the elections in Turkey, the salaries of civil servants were increased by 45 percent.

Turkey’s general elections are scheduled for May 14.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced a 45 percent increase in the salaries of nearly 700,000 civil servants a few days before the presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to foreign media reports, this increase in salaries will be for six months starting from June.

It should be noted that about 5 million employees work in government departments in Turkey.
