8 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims died in a fire incident in a hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

According to Pakistan Consul Welfare, a fire broke out in a hotel located on Ibrahim Khalil Road in Makkah on Friday, as a result of which 8 Pakistani Umrah pilgrims died and many others were injured.

Pakistan Consul Welfare says that 4 deceased Pakistanis have been identified, 2 Umrah pilgrims belong to Wahari and 2 from Kasur.

On the other hand, according to the Pakistani Foreign Office, 8 Pakistanis were killed and 6 injured in a tragic incident of fire in a hotel in Makkah on Friday.

In response to the media’s questions regarding the deaths in the fire incident in the hotel in Makkah, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that we have reports of the deaths of 8 Pakistanis and the injuries of 6 in the incident.

According to the Foreign Office, our officials in Jeddah are in contact with local authorities to provide assistance to the victims and their families.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori expressed regret over the death of Pakistanis in a fire in a hotel in Makkah.

According to the spokesman, the Governor of Sindh expressed his condolences to the bereaved and said that he is with the heirs of the deceased in this hour of sorrow.
