In a statement issued by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, it is said that Pakistan has received external financing of 15.4 billion dollars from July 2022 to April 2023.
In the announcement of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, it is said that it includes the refinancing of 6 billion dollars of debt from friendly countries, the refinancing of debt includes 3.3 billion dollars from China, Saudi Arabia.
The statement said that the refinancing of $1.3 billion of Chinese debt is also included.
According to the statement, the government has made financial arrangements to meet the debt repayment obligations during 2022-23, the government is expecting an improvement in the level of foreign exchange reserves.
