Indian actress and model Karishma Tana has revealed that her father did not even see her face for a month after her birth.
In an interview given to Indian media, the actress said that she has two sisters and she is younger, her father was not happy about her birth because he wanted a son.
According to Karisma, she was told by her mother herself that father wanted a son at the time of your birth, he belongs to a traditional Gujarati family where parents are under a lot of pressure regarding the birth of a son. The generation goes on, sons earn and feed the parents and are better than daughters, my mother has two more daughters due to which the attitude of the grandparents was not good with us.

The actress had told that when I was born, my mother did not even see my face for a week and my father did not come to see me in the hospital for a month, which was the reason for the second birth of a girl.
Karisma Tana said that when my mother told me, I was heartbroken not because my father did not love me but because his other child was also a girl and then the family pressure on the father for a son. Because of which he could not even see me, my father liked daughters but how could he tell his family.
After that I made up my mind and told father that I will do everything you want from a son and I did it,” Adkara added.
